Do the numbers follow real numbering plans?

Yes. Saudi mobiles are +966 5X XXX XXXX, Jordanian +962 7[7-9]X XXX XXX, UAE +971 5X, Egyptian +20 1X, Indian +91 [6-9]XXXX XXXXX and so on, with landline area codes per city.

Could a generated number belong to someone?

Where a country reserves fictional ranges we use them (US 555-01XX, UK 07700 900XXX and 020 7946 0XXX, France 06 39 98 XX XX). Other numbers are random within the plan and should never be dialled.

Which formats are returned?

E.164 (+966501234567), international with spaces, national with trunk prefix (050 123 4567) and RFC 3966 tel: URIs — all at once or just the one you choose.

Can I mix countries in one dataset?

Yes, choose "Mixed countries" to get a random spread, useful for testing phone parsing and formatting libraries.

Technical notes

Each country's plan table lists trunk prefix, mobile/landline prefixes, digit grouping and carrier/area labels. The NSN is a prefix plus random digits, rendered four ways: E.164 as + dial code and NSN, no trunk digit; international with per-country grouping (2-3-4 Saudi Arabia, 5-5 India, 3-8 Germany); national with trunk 0 where the plan has one (none for Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain; the US uses (NPA) NXX-XXXX); and an RFC 3966 tel: URI with hyphen separators.

Reserved fictional ranges are used where they exist: NANP 555-0100–0199 behind eight area codes, Ofcom's drama ranges 07700 900xxx, 020 7946 0xxx, 0113 496 0xxx, and ARCEP's 06 39 98 xx xx and 01 99 00 xx xx. Other countries get random digits inside a live prefix; nothing is checked against libphonenumber. Carrier follows the prefix for Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE, Egypt and Germany but is random for India, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.
