CSV to PDF

Runs in browser PDF Conversion

Drop a .csv or .tsv and get a tidy PDF table: quoted fields, embedded line breaks and semicolon, tab or pipe delimiters are handled, the header row repeats at the top of every page, column widths follow the content, and wide tables switch to landscape. Arabic cells are set right-to-left. Nothing is uploaded.

What happens when HTML, Markdown, CSV or plain text is converted to PDF?

The source is laid out onto fixed pages: text is wrapped and split at page boundaries, HTML and Markdown are rendered with the fonts available to the converter, and a CSV becomes a table that may need landscape pages or smaller type to fit its columns. The result is a real PDF with a text layer — selectable, searchable, with embedded fonts — but a static one: links survive, scripts and interactivity do not, and right-to-left text needs a converter that shapes Arabic correctly.

Frequently asked questions about CSV to PDF

How is the delimiter detected?

The first 25 lines are scanned for commas, semicolons, tabs and pipes; the character that splits every line into the same number of fields wins. Set it by hand if a file is ambiguous.

Too many columns — the table is unreadable.

Columns share the page width. Choose A3 or Tabloid, lower the font size, or remove columns you do not need before converting. Tables with seven or more columns are set in landscape automatically.

Are numbers formatted?

No — every value is printed exactly as it appears in the file. Format in your spreadsheet first, then export the CSV.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The file is opened and processed by your browser with WebAssembly and JavaScript; nothing is sent to Mutqan Soft or anyone else. Close the tab and the file is gone. Downloading the result needs a free account — no subscription, no payment.

Technical notes

An RFC 4180 reader (BOM-aware) parses the text; the delimiter is chosen by consistency of field counts over the first 25 lines. Rows become a table block and the layout engine typesets it with repeated headers and proportional column widths.
