Reverse PDF Pages

Runs in browser PDF Pages & Organization

One click turns 1…N into N…1. Content, sizes and rotations are untouched, only the order changes. Handy after a sheet-fed scanner or a fax delivered the stack upside down.

Can PDF pages be merged, split and reordered without changing their content?

Yes. ISO 32000 stores a document's pages as a tree of page objects, each pointing at its own content stream, fonts and images. Merging, splitting, extracting, reordering and rotating are edits to that tree — a rotation is a single /Rotate entry of 0, 90, 180 or 270 — so the page content is copied or re-referenced, never re-rendered, and text stays selectable and searchable. What can change is the document-level data around the pages: bookmarks, links between pages and form fields that referred to a page that was removed.

Frequently asked questions about Reverse PDF Pages

Does reversing rotate the pages too?

No — it only changes the order. If the scan is also upside down, run Rotate PDF with 180° afterwards or use the Page Organizer to do both at once.

Can I reverse only part of a document?

Use Reorder PDF Pages with a reversed range, for example "1-4, 12-5, 13-20" to reverse pages 5 to 12 only.

Is the file re-compressed?

The output is written with object streams, which is usually a little smaller than the input. Page content is copied byte for byte.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The file is opened and processed by your browser with WebAssembly and JavaScript; nothing is sent to Mutqan Soft or anyone else. Close the tab and the file is gone. Downloading the result needs a free account — no subscription, no payment.

Can I use it on a password-protected PDF?

Yes, if you know the password: the file list asks for it once and every operation then works on the decrypted pages. The output is saved without a password unless you protect it again.

Technical notes

Reversal is a reorder with the indices [n-1 … 0]; the output is rewritten with object streams, which typically makes it slightly smaller than the input.
