Can PDF pages be merged, split and reordered without changing their content?

Yes. ISO 32000 stores a document's pages as a tree of page objects, each pointing at its own content stream, fonts and images. Merging, splitting, extracting, reordering and rotating are edits to that tree — a rotation is a single /Rotate entry of 0, 90, 180 or 270 — so the page content is copied or re-referenced, never re-rendered, and text stays selectable and searchable. What can change is the document-level data around the pages: bookmarks, links between pages and form fields that referred to a page that was removed.

Frequently asked questions about Insert Pages into PDF

What size are blank pages?

By default the same size and orientation as the page they follow; you can also choose A4, A3, A5, Letter, Legal or Tabloid.

Can I insert only part of the other PDF?

Yes — type a page selection such as 1-3 or last for the inserted document; leave it empty to insert all of its pages.

Where does "after page 0" put the pages?

Choose "At the start" to put them before page 1, "At the end" to append them, or "After page…" with a page number for anywhere in between.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The file is opened and processed by your browser with WebAssembly and JavaScript; nothing is sent to Mutqan Soft or anyone else. Close the tab and the file is gone. Downloading the result needs a free account — no subscription, no payment.

Can I use it on a password-protected PDF?

Yes, if you know the password: the file list asks for it once and every operation then works on the decrypted pages. The output is saved without a password unless you protect it again.

Technical notes

Blank pages are created with the neighbouring page’s MediaBox and /Rotate so they print consistently. Inserted pages are copied objects, not links, so the source PDF is not needed afterwards.
